Allard Regional Library opened its doors in the St-Georges Community Club on January 26, 1983 as a municipal library in the L.G.D. of Alexander.  In 2009 the library moved to its new location  off HWY # 11 just in time to celebrate their 25th anniversary. The library has approximately 2,811 members which includes members from the RM of  Victoria Beach and the Town of Powerview-Pine Falls.

Allard Library has approximately 21,070 items including books, magazines, DVDs, audio books and a reference collection. There are approximately 4,150 items at the Victoria Beach Branch. The libraries  offer public internet access, WiFi access, inter library loans, eLibraries access, Ancestry access, printing, photocopy, fax and scan services as well as multiple programs.

A bi-monthly newsletter is circulated throughout the local businesses for distribution to keep you up-to-date on the newest happenings.  The library has formed numerous partnerships with local businesses and organizations to be able to offer some of their programs. For more information please check out their website at www.allardlibrary.com
